The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

The rising star maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile cheerleaders as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple international courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically told me to compete and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and has the 461st position in AJGA standings.

Yet she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with her mother.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He told me to go out there, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching younger fans.

Kai has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
