Star Denies Anti-Vax Views Following Voicing Disputed Covid Film

Liam Neeson has given his narration to a feature-length documentary that challenges the safety of vaccines and commends former health official the political figure.

The Film's Provocative Origins

Called "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is based on a popular book written by Judy Mikovits, who gained notoriety during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was a result of a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

The book's co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with controversial figure a known commentator. Heckenlively recently posted celebrating Neeson's participation in the project.

An Unequivocal Rebuttal

Representatives for Neeson have released a statement pushing back against claims that he supports anti-vaccine sentiments.

"We all acknowledge that unethical practices might be present within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to being against vaccines," the statement states. "He never has been, and is not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with Unicef underscores his consistent support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response noted that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that concerns about its claims are best addressed to the producers.

Major Themes In the Documentary

According to the documentary, the script provided by Neeson includes several provocative points:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have called for "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown stating, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they simply are not adequately tested."
  • It further attacks pandemic restrictions, saying they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Concerning pandemic shots, it mentions a report that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Context and Recent Issues

The documentary also references a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the topic of a correction by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Recently, the political figure directed the CDC to revise its long-held position that there is no link between vaccines and autism. This supposed link is also referenced in the film, contrary to a fresh analysis from the global health body confirming no such link has been found.

A Past Statement of Endorsement

Differing from the film's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible achievement," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."

The film ends with Neeson's voice saying, "This is not the finish of our story. It is the beginning of a different phase."
